The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer

unearthed soluMy book club read Michael Singer’s The Untethered Soul last spring. I now recommend it all the time. One of the things that spoke to me was about how I can hold onto something… like a story and keep it in my heart where it does not serve. Singer’s idea is the idea of let the emotions, good or bad, flow through me. He suggests that it does not serve us to hold onto even the good ones, all should flow through our hearts and away. Here’s a quote: Eventually you will see that the real cause of problem is not life itself. It’s the commotion the mind makes about life that really causes the problems. Uhmmm…
