I Believe in Life

56-woman-in-joyBeth Meininger shared her beautiful creation of Birthing Peace: Cards to Evoke Wisdom with me recently. These are lovely cards with questions on one side and a quote to evoke wisdom on the opposite side. As I read through them, a question stood out: What are my genuine, core beliefs? The opposite side had a quote from Maya Angelou about one of her core beliefs. I have followed her life and poetry for many years. This belief stands out and demonstrates how her presence affected all who read or heard her. Here’s the quote: I believe in life, in will, in good. I believe that right wins out. It may sound naïve, but I believe. What if this was a core belief of all of us? How would that change the power of limiting beliefs held by many in our world?
