Resistance to Passion… a Continuum

22-foodprints-in-snowResistance is such a human thing. Think about learning to walk. To take a step you have to resist or pull against gravity… we learn to accept it at an early age. It can become a habit and hold us back from reaching our goals. Take these steps to begin to resist the resistance.

  • Notice that you are resisting taking that first step.
  • Take a deep breath and allow yourself to really feel it.
  • Take several more deep breaths and shift how you hold your body.
  • Allow thoughts and feelings to come around how you will feel when you accomplish your goal.
  • Find the passion you have inside you for accomplishing that goal.

Take a small (or large) step and move towards the goal.
