Accepting What Comes

28-wriggley-branches-on-treeAcceptance can be found in pausing and taking some deep breaths in the middle of whatever is being viewed as a crisis in your life. Asking, “Am I in control? Is there anything I can do about this situation?” If there is, do it. For the parts where you are and cannot be in control breathe into acceptance. Feel the relief that comes. Turn this around and also accept the good that has happened today. Sometimes we rush past accepting the good things or even the compliments we receive so we can worry about what “might” happen next. Practicing acceptance will serve to grow the roots of your tree.
