Patience for a Late Birth

11-ice-bushMy European and Canadian friends are sharing that they are still awaiting the arrival of spring this year just as we are in most of the U.S. During the long cold winter we anticipate the birth of spring with even more enthusiasm than in warmer winters.  The anticipation reminds me of the late birth of my son. Each day I would awake with the thought, “Is this the day?” I didn’t believe that inducement was a good thing for my babies, so I chose to move into a mood of patience. The same thing may happen for the birthing of a new project. Allowing that incubation time may just provide time for an even healthier spring… baby… project. What do you think?
