Saying no to stillness

Saying no to stillness

A man found that he is constantly in overwhelm, has so many projects … especially pro-bono … on his plate that he is constantly juggling. Awareness came when he realized that he did not know how to say NO.

Discovery for him came with the image of the vases on the window sill with the realization that the place to say no was in stillness. He was not able to access that response since he was never still! The image of the colored glass vases on the window ledge — quiet, balanced, still — offered him a visual reminder of the benefit of stillness. From this place, he was able to say no without anger or any negative energy. He found peace!
